Our Design Process

A lot of planning goes into designing upcoming collections. We start by deciding the mood, color palette, theme, and functional specialties.

Every garment at SeamsFriendly goes through rigorous fit testing to achieve the perfect fit for all body types.

Fabrics are locally sourced, and handpicked from across India.

Here are a few things we look for:

For petite body frames, we offer narrower shoulders, shorter armholes, shorter sleeves, shorter hemlines, shorter inseams, and lower pant rise, higher darts & pockets, higher chest, waist, hem & knee position; and vice versa for tall body frames.

We also offer a Custom Size option that takes care of your exact size, body type, and proportions, along with fit & loosening preferences.

We also offer Style Customization option allowing the customer to request a different neckline, neck depth, sleeve type, sleeve length, dress length, etc., for every garment as per their preference.

We also offer 'This Style, That Fabric' option, allowing the customer to get exactly what they desire.

Eco-Friendly, Skin-Friendly, Vegan & Cruelty-Free

Did you know that your skin needs to breathe, too?
Synthetic materials like polyester, nylon, and rayon stick to your skin and are not breathable.

From fabrics to the buttons used, we choose to work only with 100% Natural Materials. Some of the fabrics used are Organic Cotton, Cotton Muslin, Cotton Corduroy, Cotton Chambray, Cotton Lace, Cotton Waffle, and Cotton Flannel.

Our fabrics are soft, light, absorbent, non-allergic, and make your skin feel good. Using biodegradable natural materials reduces the discharge of microplastics and other harmful chemicals associated with the apparel industry. We chose tough and long-lasting fabrics and can be worn multiple times without washing after every wear. These fabrics are natural insulators that get softer after every wash.

We've made a conscious choice only to use Vegan, Cruelty-Free Materials. We do not use Wool, Silk, Fur, and Leather in any of our Garments.

As far as possible, we only use Plant, Vegetable, and Azo-Free dyes. Some of our collections only use undyed fabrics.

That's not all. We deliver your order in a reusable cloth bag, made from leftover fabric - 100% Cotton. This bag isn't just adorable; it's as good for the earth as the rest of our line.

We take pride in meeting our commitments to deliver in time and as per promised quality.
Our return rate is ~ 3% (Industry Avg. Return Rate is 25-30%).
This low return rate is achieved by attention to detail and the wonderful work done by our artisans.

Fair Labor Practices and Policies

All garments crafted at SeamsFriendly are cut and sewn locally at Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.

We offer law-abiding work hours, a safe work environment, and social security to all our employees. We pay as per mutually agreed pay scales, (much higher than minimum wages). We also pay social security contributions mandated by local and national Indian laws.

The Indian government comes up with upward revisions in minimum wages every six months based on various factors, including retail inflation rate trends and standard of living index.

We do not employ child labor.
