Hand Tie Dye

Tie-dye is a resist process of dyeing that is known as Adire in Africa, Bandhini in India, and Shibori in Japan. It involves folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling the fabric, and then binding it. This helps to cover the parts to be left undyed. There are numerous ways that the fabric can be tied to give the desired print. Next, the dye is applied to the tied fabric to give a beautiful raw dyeing effect.
