Your SeamsFriendly clothing is made with a lot of care and held up to the highest quality standards.

You can raise a return request within 7 days of receipt of the product, for a refund/store credit.

Request a Return

We will happily accept returns for the following reasons:

  1. What you ordered isn't what you got.

  2. There is a manufacturing defect.

  3. Quality of the product isn’t up to the mark.

  4. You received the wrong size (not appropriate for the standard size selected or measurements shared).

  5. Item(s) got damaged during transit.

Steps to Return:

  1. Click the 'Request a Return' button, or you can click here. This will take you to our returns and exchange portal.

  2. Enter your Order ID and email address and click ‘Find your order.’

  3. Select the item(s) you would like to return and click ‘next.’

  4. Select your reason for returning the item(s). Add additional notes if the options do not aptly explain the reason for return. Please upload an image of the product to help us better understand the issue.

  5. Select your mode of refund, if you'd like to get store credit to shop something from SeamsFriendly, or a refund to the original payment method.

  6. If you'd like to get an exchange, click on 'Exchange', and specify the details of the product you would like to get as a replacement.

  7. Select your mode of shipping the item(s) to be returned, and click ‘Submit.’

  8. You'll receive an email from us, approving your request, within 2 Business Days. Please do not ship the item(s) before you receive this mail. We will be unable to process any products returned without email confirmation.
    Note: We'd request you for a picture of the item in some cases. This will help us with the internal review to process your request.

  9. Next, you'll need to ship the order back.

Be careful:

  1. Avoid any transit-related issues. We recommend using a reputed, registered courier/airmail service to ship us the product.

  2. Keep a picture of the shipment receipt with you, as proof, in case of unforeseen circumstances.

  3. Don't remove any tags unless you want to keep the product. You must retain and return the cloth bag (Potli). These steps are a must to process returns.

  4. If you can’t find the box, use a strong envelope, instead.

  5. Print the return slip, fill it up, and stick it on the package. This way, you'll only have to add your address!

  6. The returned product will be checked to make sure that the product, packaging, labels, and tags are intact.

  7. Once approved, we will process the refund, or exchange the product as per your request. In the case of bank transfer, we will request your bank account details.

  8. Please share your insight on your shopping experience at hello@seamsfriendly.com for us to know what exactly went wrong. This will allow us to polish our process.

Note:

  • In case you receive a damaged, defective, or wrong product(s), please reach out to us at the earliest. We want to sort it out straight away. You can request a return within seven days of receiving the order.

  • In cases where it was a mistake on our side, we will refund the shipping fee of both the order and return.

  • The refund for items bought on sale can only be refunded in-store credit.

  • We will not be able to accept returns if communicated to us after 7 days of receiving the shipment.

  • Custom Duty/Customs Charges are country-specific and are charged as per the rules of the Local Government. Sadly, these are beyond our control. Hence, a refund of Custom Duty/Customs Charges is not possible.

Order Cancellation:

You can choose to cancel all the items that are not yet ready to be shipped. It must be done within 24 hours of placing the order. We will initiate a 100% refund and a confirmation of the same will be sent to you via email.

To proceed with the cancellation request, we request you to get in touch with our team through chat or email. 

Why a '24 Hour' deadline?

As soon as your order is confirmed, we immediately take action. The process of making, packaging, and logistics starts, and the ordered product, in most cases, might have already passed through a couple of phases.

This is the reason why we abide by the 24-hour deadline.

Refund Process

We hate to keep you waiting. Your refund will be processed within 24 hours of sending you the confirmation email.

The bank may require up to 3-5 working days to credit the amount in your account.

Note:

  • If you find there is a huge delay in the transaction, please contact your bank.

  • If you believe you were refunded incorrectly, please get back to us, and we'll sort it out.
